To conduct and supervise all ground training requirements of flight operations staff and ensuring that they meet the required standard stipulated by GCAA and/or by the Company.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Key Activities 
  • Plan, conduct and supervise the B737-800 type conversion and recurrent training courses.
  • Plan, conduct and supervise additional special trainings required, e.g. ETOPS, RVSM, CAT II/III, RNP, etc.
  • Fixed base training to flight crew as applicable.
  • Planning the programs for initial, conversion and recurrent ground training of flight operations staff.
  • Preparation of training materials and constant update of all ground school training syllabus.
  • Preparation of annual ground school training budget and submit to Manager – Crew Check &        Training.
  • Liaison with manufacturers for update of all training methodology and contents of the syllabus.
  • Maintaining up to date and accurate record of all ground school training courses.
  • Coordination with crew planning and training to ensure completion of mandatory recurrent            training of flight operations staff.
  • Maintenance of the training facilities and monitoring the serviceability of all ground training         equipment.
  • Liaising with other company departments as necessary.
  • Ensuring dispatch of regular reports to Manager – Crew Check & Training on all ground training activities.
  • Optimising the use of resources and assessing the viability of selling the ground training courses to other agencies in liaison with Manager – Crew Check & Training.
  • Monitoring the standard of proficiency of Ground School Instructors.
  • Maintaining currency with the operating environment and with operating procedures for the        B737-800.
  • Keep current with all GCAA UAE regulations in respect of ground training requirements of flight operations staff.
  • Undertaking any additional duties as assigned by Manager Crew Training.

Qualifications

1. 2. 3. 5. Understand the laws and regulations related to foreign trade, provide customers with professional consultation and support, and assist customers' business compliance development.

4) Education: High school graduated or above;

5) Fluency in written and spoken English. Second foreign language is the advantage; 

6) Experience: Minimum 1-year experience of flying in other airlines. For Cabin Manager position, you must have at least 1 or 2-year experience in the same position or minimum 4000 consecutive flight hour experience in other airlines.

7) Other requirements: Qualification certificate must be valid, and last flight time is not over 12 months
