The outlook for our Jetstar domestic and international  flying is strong, our teams have never been more committed and our mission is unchanged, to offer all day, every day low fares so more people can fly to more places, more often.  We are passionate about making travel accessible and enjoyable for all.

Jetstar Airways is now looking forward to a brighter future as COVID restrictions are eased and Australians take to the skies once more.  As a result, we are now taking expressions of interest for our A320/1. 

To be eligible for consideration you must meet the following requirements:

  • An Australian ATPL (A) or an Australian CPL (A) with passes in all Australian ATPL Theory subjects
  • Australian Multi-Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D and 3D endorsements
  • Current CASA Class 1 medical
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6
  • A current passport with unrestricted access to all Jetstar ports of call with at least 12 months validity 
  • 1500 hours total aeronautical experience
  • 500 hours PIC or FO on multi-engine aircraft 
  • 250 hours PIC time of which 150 hours may be PICUS
  • Experience in a multi-crew operation or successful completion of a multi-crew cooperation course
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical 
  • The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
  • The ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Australian permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Australia

Additionally, the following qualifications & experience are considered an advantage:

  • A320/1 Type Rating or an Airbus family Type Rating (A330/340/350/380) 
  • Experience on an Airbus type in airline operations
  • Recent experience on an airline jet type, preferably Airbus

To be eligible for consideration you must meet the following requirements:

  • An Australian ATPL (Aeroplane/Helicopter), or Australian CPL with all ATPL subjects 
  • 500 hours in Command of a powered fixed wing aeroplane (excluding ICUS); or
  • 300 hours in Command of a multi engine aeroplane (excluding ICUS); or
  • 250 hours in Command of a powered fixed wing aeroplane and 1000 hours as Co-Pilot of a multi crew, multi engine turbine aeroplane (excluding ICUS); or
  • 250 hours of flight time in a powered fixed wing aeroplane as pilot in command, or pilot in command under supervision (of which 70 hours must be as pilot in command), and 1500 hours as Co-Pilot of a multi crew turbine aeroplane; or
  • 250 Hours in Command of a powered fixed wing aeroplane and 500 hours in Command of rotary wing aircraft (excluding ICUS) 
  • A Part 61 Multi Engine Aeroplane Class Instrument Rating (excluding a private instrument rating) 
  • Endorsements for IAP 2D and IAP 3D on Australian (civil) instrument rating 
  • A current instrument proficiency check (MEA) 
  • Australian citizenship or hold Australian permanent residency status 
  • A current passport with unrestricted access to all Qantas ports of call with at least 12 months validity
  • A current CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate (or be eligible to hold one )
  • English Level 6 proficiency 

Preference will be given to candidates that meet or exceed the following experience levels:

  • 2000 hours Total Time
  • 500 hours Multi-Engine
  • Multi- Crew Experience
  • Have airline Jet experience (or military equivalent)

Singapore Airlines Recruitment - Cabin Crew

We will be conducting interviews for cabin crew in Singapore. If you meet the following requirements, we will be pleased to receive your application:

  • Minimum age of 18 years old due to legislative requirements
  • Pleasant personality and service-oriented
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills
  • Minimum height requirement of at least 1.58m for females and 1.65m for males in order to carry out safety and emergency procedures onboard
  • Minimum qualification of 5 GCE 'O' Level credits (including English) or Higher Nitec and above
  • Former SIA Cabin Crew are welcome to apply

Successful candidates must be able to commence employment with us within three months from the date of application.
