ATR72 500/600 Direct Entry Captains - 8 Weeks ON 2 weeks OFF ( India )

An airline in India would like to invite suitable candidates for the position of ATR 500/600 Captains with commuting roster of 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

As PIC, the flight crew should have a:

• Minimum flying experience - 2000Hrs
• Minimum PIC flying experience – 1000 hrs
• Minimum PIC on type - 100 hrs with current IR/LR Check/PPC (Pilot's Proficiency Checks).
• Min 10 hrs active flying on type rated aircraft in last 90 days.
• Recent experience - at least three takes-off and landings within the preceding 90 days on the type of aircraft applied for, or in a flight simulator approved for the purpose.

 1) Reimbursement of Simulator & Medical Cost: $ 5,000 or actual cost of simulator & medical charges, whichever is less will be paid after completion of 06 months of service. 

 2) Family Tickets (per annum): $4000 

 3) Mediclaim Coverage: For family up to 4 pax (spouse & 3 dependent children up to the age of 25 years) who will be permanent resident in India. 

 4) Performance Bonus: US$ 5,000 after 12 months 

5) Per Diem: Asia: $120, Europe: $150, India: ₹2000, if accommodation + laundry + breakfast by Company.

Passage: Flight tickets in the Trujet connecting locations under SOL policy including spouse, children and parents subject to load availability.

Accommodation Arrangements:  Pilot will be provided accommodation in company Guest House with Laundry and Housekeeping facility. In case of availing meal facility, Employee will be charged on subsidized rates.

If Employee is not availing company accommodation facility he will be paid USD 1,000 per month as HRA

In addition to the above TRI will be given USD 1000 and TRE for an additional allowance of USD 2000 per month. 

Over Time Allowance: Any flying in excess of 80 hrs. per month will be compensated at USD 110 per hour

Jet Airways Pilot Recruitment - Cadet Pilot

Jet Airways, India’s full-service, premiere international airline, in collaboration with CAE, a world leader in providing training and simulation solutions to commercial airlines, has initiated a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) cadet pilot training programme aimed at creating more than 380 professional pilots over the next five years, in line with the airline’s growth strategy.

CAE is very proud to have been selected as the training partner of choice of Jet Airways’ first cadet pilot programme. CAE and Jet Airways share a relationship that spans over a decade, with the provision of Boeing 737NG pilot training as well as maintenance support services at CAE’s Bengaluru training centre. Jet Airways currently owns four CAE-built full-flight simulators, including one Airbus A330 FFS, two Boeing 737NG and one Boeing 777-300ER FFS. 

The six-bay CAE Training Centre is located near the Bengaluru International Airport at Devanahalli.
Operational since late 2008, it is the first non-airline training centre to earn approval as a Fixed-Wing Type Rating Training Organisation (TRTO) by India’s DGCA.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Jet Airways programme:

• Must be of Indian nationality, or hold an Overseas Citizenship of India
• Must be 20 years or older at the time of registering for the programme
• Maximum age: 30 years at time of appearing for Selection in Phase 1
• Achieved a minimum score of 55% in Physics, Mathematics and English in (10+2) exam individually*
• Be in good physical condition with appropriate weight and height
• Possess a valid Indian Class I medical certificate** (No Limitations)
• Be fluent in English – both written and verbal

* If an applicant has graduated with physics and maths or engineering with a mark of 55 % or more, the eligibility criterion of 12th with 55% except in English can be overlooked.

** Candidates not possessing an Indian Class 1 medical can apply for the Jet Airways programme with a Class II medical, however they must possess an Indian Class 1 medical prior to commencing on the programme.

COURSE OUTLINE

PHASE 1:

This phase provides cadets with the training required to obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a Multi-Engine Instrument rating (MEIR) and to complete the required Multi-Engine piloting experience.

Once the selection criteria are met, the Academy will manage visa documentation for the United States. Cadets will induct at the CAE academy in Phoenix to begin their ab-initio flight training for the CPL, MEIR and the Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT).

Upon completion of their CPL training in the US, the cadets will transfer to CAE OAA’s Academy in India, where they will undertake the DGCA theoretical knowledge ground school, ground exams and required conversion flights for the DGCA licensing.

Eligibility

• Candidate should be an Indian National and possess Indian CPL.
• Minimum 75% aggregate in 10+2 or 60% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Age 18 to 30 yrs.
• Candidate should possess current Indian ATPL/CPL, FRTO, COP-RTR, Class-I Medical, English Level Proficiency (ELP) endorsed on license with a minimum level 4 and with A 320 Rating.
• Minimum multi engine experience of 25 hours, 10 hours of which should be on approved multi engine simulator.
• The A320 Instrument Rating (IR) should preferably be current, if not it should not have lapsed for more than 30 months at the time of joining, preference would be given to crew depending on currency of IR. (Not applicable to candidates who are not rated Airbus 320)
• Candidates to be in possession of valid passport for a minimum 01 year at the time of joining
