Your Mission

As a Digital Marketing Consultant, you will be working with our Global Internet Leader Account to deliver happier customer experience. Usually working under a head of marketing but managing a marketing team, campaign managers oversee campaigns in a variety of formats.

You are also required to perform these job functions:

  • Respond to customer support inquiries in accordance with training provided, standards and policies, including to supply diagnosis, resolution, and tracking of end user issues based on guidelines, documentation and scripts provided
  • Serve as a trusted consultant with customers to onboard, develop and optimize advertiser’s campaigns
  • Detect and understand the customer’s needs and objectives
  • Be responsible for increasing spend, upsell and sustainability
  • Handle a high volume of potential clients on a daily basis through phone call

Who are we looking for?

  • Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in any field, preferably advertising or marketing

Responsible for delivering flying training instruction on single engine aircraft, to ab-initio pilot cadets, at the Emirates Flight Training Academy. Instruction includes in-aircraft, in-simulator and on-ground instruction, preparation of lessons, pre-and post-flight briefings, report writing and assessment.

Job Outline:

  • Provide training and flying instruction to cadets for flying aircrafts.
  • Conduct and deliver pre and post flight training briefings to ensure cadets understand the process and procedure fully.
  • Conduct and deliver flying skills training in aircraft, simulator, and ground instruction to ensure that the cadets meet the prescribed standards of flying.
  • Schedule regular checks for cadets to ensure that they meet the course standards, training requirement, and objectives in every flight course.
  • Ensure the safety of the cadets prior to using the training aircrafts and report incidents to the concerned personnel for any violations and situations that may affect the safety of the flight.
  • Monitor cadet’s proficiency and progress on regular basis, and generate reports of their performance.
  • Research, develop, and recommend new teaching methods to have an effective standard of learning and performance.
  • Deliver other flying-related training initiatives as directed by CFI.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

- Ab-initio flying instructional experience in a large ATO.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Minimum 700hrs Total Time, 350hrs Instructional time, 200hrs IFR time.
  •  Minimum GCAA or any ICAO Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a Single Engine Class Rating.
  • Minimum Flight Instructor Rating with Night and Instrument privileges.
  • Class 1 Medical Certificate without restrictions.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency level 5 or greater.
  • Exceptional instructional technique, with an understanding of a broad range of teaching methodologies
  • High computer literacy

The Role

The Flight Operations Manager is the nexus of all things operational, and training have overall responsibility for the running of an airline's operations. They meet with staff each day to discuss issues, oversee all major operational decisions and devise solutions to problems that arise. They also advise other departments of operational issues that may affect the airline's performance and work closely with them as well sharing and providing valuable input for the many commercial projects undertaken by the Company.

This job will oversee the roles of Chief Pilot and Chief Pilot Training which is why a seasoned and experienced pilot is well suited for this many challenging and important role.

Main Duties

  • Design and develop processes, procedures, and required tools for Cempaka Helicopter’s flight operations activities and develop the functional areas in readiness for projects and everyday flight charters and company growth
  • Implement and maintain best-in-class practices and technologies and IT systems to develop and maintain dispatch and operations control system which will provide a high level of operational control, visibility, and performance to airline management
  • To lead the company’s audit team for when Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) conducts its necessary audit
  • Responsible for the process that updates, revises, and improves policies and processes after CAAM’s audit
  • The appointment to the company's operations of suitable aircrews to meet operational contractual requirements. Responsible for the recruitment, training, and appointment of Cempaka aircrew personnel and operations staff
  • Through the CP, the standards of all Company aircrew conversion, base, line, continuation, and role training is adhered to
  • Formulating or approving operational procedures to secure safe and efficient operation of the Cempaka's aircraft fleet. Establishing the operational equipment standards of Company aircraft
  • Evaluation of airborne/ground radio and navigation equipment, safety, and survival equipment
  • Operational procedures in accordance with the Operations Manual. The production and revision of the Operations Manual and the distribution of the manuals and amendments
  • Visits to operational bases to evaluate standards and procedures with the cardinal aim of improving operational efficiency and safety 
  • Ensure that operational equipment and safety equipment are always ready and meets the requirements for the situation at hand
  • Works to ensure that equipment standards are identified and secured for new operations and ensuring that the same happened for operational procedures for new operations 
  • Recommending and monitor additional training courses or programs for pilots, in-house or other agencies 
  • Conducts and leads Accident and Incident Investigations
  • Responsible for the Mandatory Occurrences and Incident report

Requirements

  • Must Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot’s License (ATPL) license 
  • Ideally type rated to Cempaka’s fleet of aircraft ( Robinson R44 and R66 )
  • Ideally to have at least 1,000 hours of flying in all type rated aircraft operated by Cempaka Helicopter 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an airline operations function, with 3 years of managerial experience.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.  Other languages will be a plus to have
  • Prior experience with flight operations amounting to at least 5 years
  • Open to all nationalities

Weststar Aviation Services is currently looking for offshore pilots for our domestic and international operations. Selected pilots shall be performing offshore flying activities based on company and authority regulations.

Below are the requirements we would highly prefer for the said positions. 

Captain rank requirements :

• Multi-Engine Helicopter less than 5700 or more than 5700 kg at least have a License ATPL /H with IR certificate.

• 1500 hours as pilot in command of helicopters/aeroplanes in which 500 hours in the multi engine aircraft.

• 100 hours as pilot in command of the particular type / similar complexity

• 250 hours of instrument hours in which 100 hours in an actual instrument condition.

• Any limitation regarding night flying or flying out of sight of land or water or flying by sole reference to instruments shall have been removed from his licence.

• At least one year of experience in offshore operations.

• Malaysian nationality.

 Co-pilot rank requirements:

• License ATPL /H with IR certificateMulti-Engineine Helicopter less than 5700 or more than 5700 kg at least.

• Total flying hours of 500.

• 100 hours as pilot in command of heliairplaneeroplane.
