JetStar Japan - A320 Direct Entry Captain / First Officer

Minimum requirements:

Captain

• Hold a JCAB ATPL 
• Current JCAB Class 1 Medical Certificate 
• JCAB Level 4, 5 or 6 English Language Proficiency (prospective) 
• Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Permanent Residency status or an unrestricted rights to work in Japan
• Minimum 4,000 hours total time on fixed wing aircraft, and 3,000 hours on Jet
• Minimum EFIS 1,000hours
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC on aircraft on aircraft with MTOW > 50,000kg or Minimum 2,000 hours PIC on aircraft with MTOW > 30,000kg 

First Officer

• JCAB Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating
• Current JCAB Class 1 Medical Certificate
• JCAB Level 4, 5 or 6 English Language Proficiency (prospective)
• Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Permanent Residency status or an unrestricted rights to work in Japan
• Minimum 1,500 hours on fixed wing aircraft (Preference will be given to applicants who have jet airline aircraft experience)
• Minimum EFIS 500hours
• 500 hours PIC or First Officer on multi-engine aircraft

Note: In exceptional circumstances the Appointments and Promotions Committee may determine that a pilot is sufficiently qualified and experienced for recruitment with less than the qualifications and experience specified above.
