Direct Entry Pilots ( CPL / IR ) - Air New Zealand

Your Journey starts here….

Our three Regional airlines are regularly looking for new pilots to fly their turboprop fleets. Entry is always at First Officer level and positions are located at a number of bases around the country, from Kerikeri to Christchurch. Whether you are looking for a career flying props or a pathway to our jet fleet, this is a great point of entry.

Mount Cook Airlines, Air Nelson and Eagle Airways operate domestic routes on the Air New Zealand Link Network. Here, you'll find yourself in the right hand seat of an ATR72, Dash 8 Q300 or Beech1900D.

We are currently recruiting roles across the group and invite applications from suitably qualified pilots. Selection for positions is done in Christchurch by Assessment Centre over 2 days. If your application is successful, our Talent Sourcing team will be in touch to invite you to one of our assessments.

To be considered as a Pilot within our Regional Fleet we require applicants to have:
  • NZCAA CPL, preferably with some ATPL subjects completed, NZCAA MEIR, BGT, NACAA Class 1 Medical
Note: To complete this application, you will need to refer to your logbook, license(s) and medical information. Applications will only be accepted from NZ Residents and Citizens and are not able to offer sponsorships or any assistance with immigration.

Please click the apply now button to submit your application. Applications are only accepted through the online registration. Enquiries can be sent to pilot.recruitment@airnz.co.nz
