A320 Direct Entry Captain (Non type-rated) applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:


  • Hold a valid ICAO ATPL
  • Hold a valid Class One Medical Certificate
  • Hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
  • 5,000 hours flying experience on aircraft above 40,000kgs
  • 3,500 hours flying experience on jet transport, in which 1,500 are pilot-in-command (PIC) hours
  • 1,000 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on EFIS typed aircraft
A320 Direct Entry Captain (Type-rated) applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:
  • Hold a valid ICAO ATPL
  • Hold a valid Class One Medical Certificate
  • Hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
  • 5,000 hours flying experience on aircraft above 40,000kgs
  • 3,500 hours flying experience on jet transport, in which 1,500 are pilot-in-command (PIC) hours
  • 500 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on A320
  • 1,000 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on EFIS typed aircraft
  • Last flown within 12 months on A320
A320 Direct Entry First Officer (Non type-rated) applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:
  • Hold a valid ICAO ATPL or CPL (frozen ATPL)
  • Hold a valid Class One Medical Certificate
  • Hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
  • Minimum 1,000 hours total pilot flight time
  • 500 hours flying experience on aircraft above 10,000kgs
  • 200 hours on EFIS typed aircraft
  • Priority will be given to candidates with jet experience
A320 Direct Entry First Officer (Type-rated) applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:
  • Hold a valid ICAO ATPL or CPL (frozen ATPL)
  • Hold a valid Class One Medical Certificate
  • Hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
  • 1,000 hours flying experience on aircraft above 10,000kgs
  • 500 hours on A320
  • Last flown within 12 months on A320
A330 Direct Entry Captain (Type-rated) applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:
  • Hold a valid ICAO ATPL
  • Hold a valid Class One Medical Certificate
  • Hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
  • 5,000 hours flying experience on aircraft above 40,000kgs, in which 1,500 hours must be pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on Fly-by-Wire or Wide-Bodied aircraft
  • 3,500 hours on jet transport above 60,000kgs
  • 500 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on A330
  • Last flown within 12 months on A330
