Primera Air operates charter flights and ad-hoc ACMI projects on two AOC's. Our current core of pilots are highly qualified and dynamic team members. We place great emphasis on the company's safety culture where good airmanship, motivation and crew resource management skills are key elements.
Primera Air only hires pilots with JAR and EASA licenses and a valid type rating on B737. Experience on the B737NG is considered an advantage but is not a requirement.
Interviews
In order to be selected for an interview, you need to hold a 737 rating. If you are considering doing a 737 type rating, then please have it ready before you apply as your application will otherwise not be processed. Selected candidates will be contacted by our collaborating crew leasing agency, Flight Crew Solutions. Interviews will be held during the period December 2014-February 2015 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Contract period
Depending on crew need and training schedule, pilots will be phased in for summer contracts. Lengths of contracts will be from 3 to 7 months. Extension of contracts are likely to occur when crew need for winter 2015-2016 has been calculated. Selection criteria for continued work will depend on mutual interest, bases available, crew composition and individual performance.
Bases
Expected bases 2015 are Copenhagen, Billund, Helsinki and Paris Charles de Gaulle.
Captains
Requirements
Current type rating on B737. Minimum 4000 hrs total time and at least 1000 hours of command time on a large multi-engine aeroplane (BAe146 or larger) or any multi-engine EFIS equipped jet aeroplane in multi crew commercial operation with at least one CCM.
Terms
Seasonal contract as self-employed contractor.
Attractive monthly fees commensurate with previous experience
Block Hour Payments
Paid training period at reduced rate.
First Officers
RequirementsCurrent type rating on B737. Minimum of 20 hours on multi-engine aeroplane.
