Air Asia X - Walk-in interview for Flight Attendants - Tokyo ( Japanese Crew )

Responsibilities

To attend pre-flight briefing, during which Flight Attendant are assigned their working positions for the upcoming flight; 

To carry out pre-flight duties, including checking the safety equipment, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy, ensuring that information in the seat pockets is up to date and that all meals and stock are on board;


To welcome passengers on board and directing them to their seats; 


To inform passengers of the aircraft safety procedures and ensuring that all hand luggage is securely stored away;


To check all passenger seat belts and galleys are secure prior to take-off;


To make announcements on behalf of the pilot and answer passenger questions during
the flight; 


To perform sales of meals & duty-free goods and advise passengers of any allowance
restrictions in force at their destination; 


To reassure passengers and ensure that they follow safety procedures correctly in emergency situations; 


To ensure passengers disembark safely at the end of a flight and check that there is no
luggage left in the overhead lockers; 


To complete paperwork, including writing a flight report.

Registration starts from 9:00 am.
Successful candidates will continue to the next stage of the interviews on MONDAY 10 MARCH 2014.

All interested candidates must bring:
-- Passport-sized picture with light blue background and latest full-length picture
-- Original passport and photocopy of passport
-- Original certificates and photocopies

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
-- Credit in high school English
-- Fluency in English and Japanese, spoken and written
-- Positive attitude
-- Age range: 20 to 35 years old.
-- This interview is open to Japanese passport holders only.

Candidates need to have a min height of 157 cm and max 170 cm (ladies, barefoot) and min height of 170 cm and max 180 cm (gentlemen, barefoot). This is part of ensuring comfort while discharging flight attendant duties in the aircraft cabin.
